Participants on the 26 Sept 2003 World Birding Center Pelagic trip out of Port Isabel, Texas were happily surprised to encounter an adult Yellow-nosed Albatross lounging amongst a group of Cory's Shearwaters and Masked Boobies. The photos below were taken by Brad McKinney and show evidence of molting on the wings as well as a good size comparison with a nearby Cory's Shearwater.
