The pictures below are of a male/female pair of Ruddy Ground-Doves found at Cottonwood Campground, Big Bend National Park on 21 November 2004 by Howard Laidlaw as we were birding that area together.   The birds stayed mostly hidden behind tree branches but I was able to get some identifiable shots of both birds, with the top photo showing the male, and the bottom photo showing both birds, with the female being in the background and in focus.
